Nestled on beautiful Lake Apopka about 30 minutes west of Orlando in Central Florida, Winter Garden is home to more than 45,000 residents and contains a wealth of West Orange County heritage and history. The Downtown Historic District is centered on the popular West Orange Trail and is  listed on the National Register of Historic Places and surrounding the West Orange Trail. Visitors enjoy outdoor dining along the Trail at one of many restaurants, resting on the swings surrounding the fountain, or browsing the unique shops.
