Join Chief Meteorologist Tom Sorrells, who brings more than 35 years of experience, for a free Weather-Ready Lunch & Learn at Heller Hall. Learn how hurricanes, tornadoes, and dangerous storms affect Central Florida while exploring practical ways to prepare your household and access trusted safety, power-line, and outage-reporting resources. This free community workshop will be held on August 12 from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m., with a complimentary lunch provided.
