About the event
Grab your paddle and be part of something brand new.
Compete for the Founder’s Golden Paddle trophy and help launch a new community tradition, brought to you by the Winter Garden Heritage Foundation in partnership with the YMCA of Central Florida. Whether you’re a seasoned player or a weekend warrior, this tournament is all about fun, friendly competition and meaningful connection, on and off the court. More than just a tournament, players will enjoy refreshments, light bites, wellness-inspired activations, and opportunities to mingle and connect with fellow community members.
Registration is open, but space is very limited, don’t wait to sign up!
Details
Tournament play will take place at either Dr. Phillips YMCA or Roper YMCA, depending on your selected bracket. Please be sure to arrive at the correct location based on your registration.
Player check-in and registration will be held on Saturday, February 28 from 8:00–9:00 AM.
Choose Your Bracket
Brackets are designed to create a fun and balanced experience for all players. While some use DUPR ratings, many community players do not, so we use broad guidelines to set clear expectations.
Recreational: Under DUPR 3.5 or one year or less of experience (must know how to play) (Dr. Philips YMCA, 7000 Dr. Phillips Blvd, Orlando, FL)
Competitive: DUPR 3.5–4.5 or two years or more of experience (Dr. Philips YMCA, 7000 Dr. Phillips Blvd, Orlando, FL)
65+: Open to players ages 65+, all skill levels welcome (Roper YMCA, 100 Windermere Rd, Winter Garden, FL)
Please note:
Recreational and Competitive Players MUST be 18+.
Participation is limited to 90 players (45 teams), 15 teams per bracket.
Teams must register in pairs. Individual players will not be matched.

100% of proceeds support Winter Garden Heritage Foundation's free museums, historic preservation, and archives preserving West Orange County.
Register early, once brackets fill, registration will close.
Hosted in partnership with the YMCA of Central Florida, with matches at Roper YMCA and Dr. Phillips YMCA.

Price is per team (2 players). This bracket is for players with one year or less of pickleball experience or a DUPR score under 3.5. Must be 18 years or older to participate. Teams must register as pairs of two. Individual registrations will not be matched with another player. Tickets are non-refundable.

Competitive Bracket Team
