Winter Garden Heritage Foundation volunteers not only represent the organization but are actually ambassadors for the City. Residents have actually moved to Winter Garden because of the warm welcome and helpful information provided by our volunteer museum docents!

WGHF operates with a very small paid staff. It is our committed volunteers that allow us to provide a variety of programs and services to the community. Volunteers serve in many ways:

• As members of the Board of Directors
• On planning committees
• At special events
• As archivists at the History Center (computer skills required)
• As docents at the Heritage Museum and the Central Florida Railroad Museum
• As field trip activity leaders

In addition to the above, we are currently seeking college interns with computer skills to catalogue books, photographs, maps and artifacts into our computer database.
